El HD es uno de esos sitios que hacen posible lo increíble.
¿Por qué buscar en mercadillos belgas o berlineses lo que en Madrid ya tenemos de sobra? No hacen falta piezas vintage importadas para crear un ambiente retro y cool. Basta con coger una cafetería de las de toda la vida (Hermanos Díaz, ¿por qué no?) aderezarla con unos cuantos toques maestros y darle una vuelta a sus cócteles y menús. Una receta sencilla pero efectiva que funciona a las mil maravillas.
Su público así lo confirma. Desde abuelas adorables que han ido siempre a merendar y lo siguen haciendo, hasta los más modernos y trendys disfrutando de un buen cocktail y una película de cine mudo.
Para mí, nada como sentarse en sus sofás a tomar un gin-tonic (con semillas de enebro incluidas) bien preparado y con tu ginebra preferida (estará, seguro, en la lista de 56 que hay en su carta). Si a esta mezcla ya casi perfecta añades una hamburguesa italiana, tú día habrá mejorado, seguro.
Si no has ido, yo que tú probaría. Eso sí, si vas a ir el fin de semana, reserva o no tendrás mesa.

Why looking for singular vintage pieces at flea markets in Belgium or Berlin if in Madrid we have all those things, and even better? For me, there is nothing like sitting on their sofas taking a gin-tonic (with juniper seeds included) well prepared and with your favorite gin (it surely will be in the list of the menu). You can add an Italian burger to get the perfect combination, your day will became better, for sure.
If I were you, I would test it. Anyway, if you go on weekend, you should call for booking. Otherwise you will not have table.
